MIRKO'S BIO

Mirko Fadda was born and raised in Puglia (Italy) , a land of great artists and began playing the guitar at the age of 17 , practicing hard in order to reach a good level on the instrument, so that he could play, initially, the songs of artists who influenced him and then devote himself almost immediately to come up with his own ideas.

The practice of the instrument, therefore, becomes an important part of his life in the years that followed, first by following a few lessons from local teachers and then he dedicate himself to the practice and study of the instrument, while getting his degree in "Foreign Languages and Literatures" which also gave him the possibility to be interpreter in some master classes of internationally renowned artists such as Andy Timmons, Guthrie Govan and Billy Sheehan.

Some of his early influences include Iron Maiden, Helloween, Van Halen, Symphony X, Circus Maximus, Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment and then even the big names of soundtrack composers such as Ennio Morricone, Two Steps from Hell, Hans Zimmer . Among the guitarists that led him to play to the best of his ability, there are names such as John Petrucci, Michael Romeo, Rusty Cooley, Steve Vai and Shawn Lane.

These influences dictated by great artists with strong instrumental skills, carve his competency and compositional skills, that find a combination in the creation of a single , entitled "Egolution" with strong progressive features.

This song is completely self produced and is the first melodic instrumental experiment, unpublished, realised for solo guitar.

The song is still structured like a song with vocals and he is supported by several melodic themes (which could possibly affect and attract the attention of professionals or not) with a true "solo" in the middle of the song trying to never lose the "light of the melody." :-)

Track that leads him to immediately become "Guitarist of the Week" on the website, TV channel, You Tube and Facebook page "Guitar Asylum TV" hosted by Rusty Cooley and edited by Ward Bond canal Houston's Channel 55,

in addition to receiving numerous positive feedback on several webzines, magazines and websites in the industry or not, national and international (the majority of them  gathered in the description of the video of the song on You Tube).

In December 2012 released his second single "BECOME", a song most influenced by soundtracks and even more dynamic and in June 2013, the third song entitled "LIGHT", which led him to receive even greater acclaim and enthusiastic and positive feedback on sites and web magazine in Italy and around the world.

At the beginning of 2014 releases the new song "IN-SANE" which closes his first solo Ep after "Egolution", "Become" and "Light".

Streaming will be available on all digital platforms and digital download from the stores.

The EP will be available digitally and in hard copy.

Meanwhile he plays in tribute to the famous progressive British band "Muse" called "Museum".

He devoted himself to the writing of new songs for the realization of a full length album.

Since August 2014 he moved in London (UK) to pursue his musical career playing his solo material in many historical venues in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol between several others.

Performs as a solo artist at the world famous Glastonbudget Festival (2015 and 2016 edition).

He took part to NAMM 2016 and 2017 as Associate and representer of his own Music and endorser of brands such as “Tone Forge” and “Keeley Electronics”.

Next step is to start recording of new material and touring with his own band playing his own material.
